Woodward fuel control valves in various series
Woodward R3103 / EM35MR / TM55 Valves
Woodward R3103 / EM35MR / TM55 series valves are used on gas turbine plants, equipped with SAC and DLE combustion systems. They are manufactured from corrosion resistant stainless steel to provide reliable operation in acidic environments (with high sulfur content in the gas) – where other valves cannot be used.
In combination with the EM35MR actuator, the valves in this series provide accurate fuel flow, thus fulfilling the basic requirement of DLE combustion chambers. Also, the TM55 actuator is used on this type of valve. The gas flow rate is up to 18144 kg/h.

Woodward GS-XX Valves
Woodward GS-XX Series Electrically Actuated Fuel Supply Valves are used to optimize and control fuel consumption. The GS series valves are used extensively in gas turbine applications. There are 4 models of GS-XX Woodward valves: GS3, woodward GS6, GS10 and valve GS16, with flow rates of 6800 kg/h, 10000 kg/h and 13600 kg/h respectively.
The design feature of GS-XX valves is a self-cleaning mechanism to remove impurities that may interfere with performance. Thus, these types of valves are widely used in gas turbine plants with low-emission combustion chambers.

Woodward EGMV Valves
Woodward EGMV (Electric Gas Metering Valve) series valves are the latest valves designed to control the flow of gas fuel upstream of the combustion chamber of gas turbines. This type of valve has an electric actuator integrated to enable accurate gas flow in all operating conditions and is available in 2 sizes – 2“ and 3” respectively.
The EGMV valve comes with an integrated electric actuator that utilizes a brushless DC motor to drive the valve mechanism. A DVP (Digital Valve Positioner) is used as the signal for the degree of opening of the actuator.

Woodward GSOV Valves
Woodward’s GSOV (Gas Shotoff Valve) series are shutoff valves that provide high speed fuel shutoff in emergency situations.
Manufactured from stainless steel, allowing operation in all conditions. Designed for pressures up to 6.2 MPa. Available in various versions for high temperature and high pressure applications.
Markings: GSOV25; GSOV25HT 03286 (9907-861).
Woodward LQ25 Valves
Woodward LQ25 series valves are liquid fuel metering valves. The LQ25 is suitable for use on gas turbines in the output power range of 6,000 to 42,000 kW, depending on the characteristics of the fuel used and the operating conditions.
Three port sizes are available for the LQ25 valves: a 65 mm² (0.1 in²) port is designed for maximum fuel flow rates from 1,814 to 3,629 kg/h (4,000-8,000 lb/hr), a 129 mm² (0.2 in²) port is designed for maximum fuel flow rates from 3,629 to 8,165 kg/h (8,000-18,000 lb/hr), and a 194 mm² (0.3 in²) port is designed for maximum fuel flow rates from 7,258 to 11,794 kg/h (16,000-26,000 lb/hr). All LQ25 valve materials are corrosion resistant.
