The Siemens SGT-400 industrial gas turbine is a combination of 25 years of design experience and solutions from the SGT 100 and SGT 300 models, as well as the latest combustion technology. As a result, the SGT-400 provides reliable power generation for a wide variety of applications. In industry, it is used for both power generation and mechanical drive.

The GTU is equipped with a combustion chamber with dry suppression of nitrogen oxide (DLE), which allows to operate on both gaseous and liquid fuel with ultra-low emissions of harmful substances.

In addition to the above, the SGT-400’s undeniable advantage is its high efficiency – 34,8 %. Such high value is achieved due to optimal fuel combustion in the combustion chamber and its outlet temperature of 1256 °С, as well as high compression ratio in the compressor of 16.7. At application of GTU as a mechanical drive the efficiency increases up to 36 %.
