Control System Modernization

Holland Controls offers control system solutions for gas and steam turbines, compressor stations. Control system modernization extends the life of your equipment, thereby increasing your company’s revenue.

Control systems age faster than the equipment for which they are installed. Holland Controls can perform various levels of upgrades depending on the customer’s need, allocated budget, and the knowledge of the engineers on site.

Benefits of control system modernization:

  • Fast data logging
  • Visualization of performance
  • Modern, powerful PLCs
  • Retention of all data
  • Improved event differentiation
  • Easy connection to remote systems
  • Wide range of control system components including Siemens AG (Germany), Yokogawa Electric Corporation (Japan), Honeywell Enraf (USA), Invensys system (USA), ABB (Switzerland).

Holland Controls can perform modernization of different sizes: complete, limited, modernization of control system only or field instrumentation only.

Turbine control systems

Holland-Controls engineering activities comply with all requirements of the European standards NEN-EN-ISO 9001:2000 and the Safety and Health Certificate (SCC).

Holland-Controls’ core business is turbine control systems. Over the last 20 years engineers have designed and installed more than 200 control systems for GTUs of various types and manufacturers. Holland Controls specialists also provide technical support and maintenance of control systems.

Holland-Controls uses equipment of the following brands in its gas turbine control systems: OPRA, Rolls-Royce, Solar, Ruston, General Electric, Pratt & Whitney, IGTS (EECT), Bently Nevada, Schenck, SAE-Stahl, Wonderware, Daniels and others.

Over the years Holland-Controls has completed a number of projects on Cooper-Bessemer, Ingersoll Rand, Superior gas turbine drive control systems.

Holland-Controls has customized over 30 gas turbine control systems in the last 5 years.

There is no other such independent company with such a wealth of experience in the entire world. Holland-Controls continues to support some control systems that the original manufacturer has discontinued doing so.

Holland-Controls uses equipment from the world’s leading control manufacturers such as Siemens, Rockwell – Allen Bradley, Rolls-Royce, ABB, GE-Fanuc and others. Holland-Controls has designed many systems on the extremely powerful, safe and reliable Siemens S7-300 platform.

Siemens has an excellent reputation: spare parts can often be obtained within one day. Siemens is now the worldwide brand of programmable logic controllers (PLC). It is confirmed by years of experience that Siemens, continues to support its systems even when they become significantly obsolete. The previous Siemens S5 system will be supported after 35 years from the release date.
