SOLAR Taurus 60 gas turbine is a mobile autonomous energy module. Natural gas is used as the main type of combusted fuel.
SOLAR Taurus 60 GTU is installed in a casing to reduce noise level. The unit is also equipped with an additional compartment where the GTU control panel is located.
Technical characteristics:
- Type of fuel used – natural gas;
- Electric power – 4.7 MW
- Voltage – 10,5 kV, current frequency – 50 Hz;
- Overall dimensions (DxWxH): 14.5 m, 6.5 m, 8.2 m;
- Weight – 54 tons.
SOLAR Taurus 60 GTU is equipped with low-emission combustion chamber (CC) SoLoNOx. The burner device – is combined. Two types of fuel can be used in operation. NOx emission is not more than 25 ppm.
For reliable, low-emission, economical and environmentally friendly operation of GTU it is necessary to comply with gas distribution parameters, namely: flow rate 0.536 m3/s and pressure 1.73 MPa. Strict requirements are also present for the composition: the presence of liquid hydrocarbons, water, sulfur components and other contaminants is not possible. The fuel must comply with the declared SOLAR TURBINES standards according to the specifications.
When operating at rated load, the GTU generated electric power is 4.7 MW with voltage of 10.5 kV. The energy module includes both complex air supply system and exhaust system, fire safety complex, service platforms, various additional equipment. In case of stationary placement there are recommendations to install the energy module on the manufacturer’s frame.
SOLAR Taurus 60 is equipped with NEMA alternators with an active power of 5,880 kVA. The generators of this type ensure uninterrupted operation in the entire load range. The generator insulation class is – Н.
