Brief description of the constructional device
The axial compressor has 8 stages and develops rotational speed up to 22 300 rpm. The compressor housing is equipped with a vertical connector. Compressor pressure rise degree: 6,7:1.
The ring combustion chamber has 12 fuel injectors as standard.
The power unit is represented by a 3-stage axial turbine.
To increase resistance to high temperatures and corrosive environment, the turbine blades and nozzles are coated with a special coating.
The gas turbine is connected to the generator by means of a planetary gearbox with a rotation speed of 1.5 thousand rpm at 50 Hz.
The gas turbine unit is equipped with Turbotronic microprocessor control system, which includes: control unit, vibration and temperature control system, generator regulation system, playback and control system.
Main advantages
Solar Saturn 20 GTU has high reliability. Assigned resource is 270 000 hours, which is equal to 30 years. Installations of this model have multimillion total operating time, which is increasing every day.
Saturn 20 gas turbine units are characterized by a number of other important advantages, including:
